The Anglo-Saxons came from Northern Europe and began raiding and settling in Britain from the fourth century CE. By the end of the sixth century, they had become one of the most significant cultural groups in Britain, establishing numerous settlements, including in the Tees Valley. Explore some of the items discovered by the excavations in the tees valley at Street House and Norton.
